Day 1 - Germany come at me!

Day 1 in Germany was exhausting but fun. The wonderful Padgets picked us up from the airport and we went on the hunt for Gluten Free (GF) food and phone cards. Both mildly successful. Then we headed to Aachen and visited the Town House and the Dom - amazing leadlight windows. No photos as I left phone in car and Braz didn't have memory card in camera - what novices.

Braz waited until almost midday for his first German beer and was well rewarded. Finding GF food was a bit tricky for me so ended up eating too much dairy. Results: now have a greater awareness of all loos in Aachen and have nearly used all coins Monica gave me. The saying 'spend a penny' is well used here. Now it's off to Belgium in search of the brewery that brews GF beer!
